shaded I by ~ryye is a captivating piece that accurately signifies the struggle of strength versus resistance. The figure seems to be enduring resistance from outside forces, yet has enough strength to endure these, by pushing them to the side; yet the figure still moves onward, unfaltered by what attempts to stop her. that is good... the apparent "nothingness" that the hall disappears into... the shadows... mysterious figure, without being overawing or diabolical... there is a warmth that i "feel' looking at this... a strange (almost faithful) reassurance that i am ok

i really like the perspective of this shot.. how everything converges toward infinity, walls narrow, perhaps crush you if you go too far. yet light has that omnious feel to it..
hands on walls are a really nice touch. and i also like the apparent posterization of the walls.

and the frame is great. i love original frames that actually look good. this frame gives the image "required" width which makes it easier for your brain to embrace.. despite what others think :p
